JOHN WESTON
John Weston is a former merchant navy deck officer, came ashore to obtain academic qualification and subsequently held research posts at the University of Wales, Cardiff. He spent three years as a claims adjuster with a London P & I Club before qualifying as a solicitor with a leading City of London shipping and commercial practice in 1989.
Previously head of shipping and marine matters at two major commercial firms. Covers the breadth of the firm’s portfolio. A regular presenter of legal seminars, he is widely published in the specialist press.
